Athens, Voula

Location Info

Welcome to the Athens Riviera. Voula is one of the most popular and beautiful southern suburbs of Athens. The distance between Athens and Voula is about 16km. Since 2011, the local government reform it as part of the municipality Voula-Vari-Vouliagmeni.

Here, the temperature is a few degrees warmer than the “reported” Athens weather. It is considered an all-year beach paradise only a half hour drive from Athens main tourist attractions, Greek landmarks and the Athens “must see” spots of the Acropolis, Plaka and Monastiraki.

The residents of the southern suburbs are outdoorsy, laid back people who enjoy the simple things in life, like a beautiful sunset and the sea view, and will seize every opportunity to get out, party, drink, eat and exercise on a sunny day (to say at least).

In the last few years more tourists have discovered the southeast coast of Athens, and many were delighted to find that they could stay right on, or within easy walking distance of the sea and still have access to the main sightseeings in center of Athens. With plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes and the one thing that central Athens does not have: The Aegean Sea. The beautiful beaches that surrund the city are amazing and so beautiful, with crystal blue waters.
